Cordery will present an overview of the life and innovations of the legendary beauty expert Elizabeth Arden. Publisher's Weekly states, "beauty buffs will be rapt" by this book and Kirkus shares, "it's as beguiling as a day of luxury beauty treatments."
Historian Stacy Cordery earned her Ph.D. studying with Dr. Lewis L. Gould at the University of Texas. She taught at Monmouth College for 22 happy years before relocating in 2016 to Iowa State University where she serves as the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the History Department. An award-winning teacher, respected author, and popular lecturer, Cordery’s earlier books include biographies of Alice Roosevelt Longworth and Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low.
