Rhymes With Fool

Looking for an interesting read? How about a novel by local writer, Jim Courtier. Courtier is a writer who taught writing at Western Illinois University, and was a winner of an Illinois Arts Council award for short fiction. His short stories have been published in the United States, Canada and England. His first published novel, Rhymes with Fool, is about a former investigative journalist, Barry Pool, who is asked to find the missing son of a prominent U.S. senate candidate. He decides to take the job for the money, but after uncovering a neo-Nazi conspiracy and being sucked into a vortex of racial tension and high-stakes politics, he starts to have second thoughts. This book is for sale for $12 plus tax in the BCA Gift Shop. We also carry his novel, First Things First at $15 plus tax.
