buchanancenter

Join us in the BCA Gallery 10am Wednesday, May 8 as Old Friends Talk Art presents Patty Nieman. Nieman will discuss how she became an audio book narrator and what it's like in the online world. Refreshments will be served, and this event is free and open to the public. OFTA is funded in part by the Jim & Jan DeYoung Charitable Trust. See you in the gallery!

Patty Neiman is an actress, singer of 40+ years and is part of two acting associations, AEA and SAG-AFTRA. She spent seven years in New York honing her acting skills, and she is an NYU graduate from the Musical Theatre Writing Program. Neiman worked for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Voice Over Lab. However, in 2020, Neiman made a pivot due to covid. She was offered an invitation from Penguin Random House, working as an audiobook narrator. She jumped at the chance to work with a large publishing company. Today, she has narrated several dozen books.
