Judi Minor’s passion to work with fused glass began over 20 years ago with a desire to make glass stepping stones. Her work has evolved from making stained glass to lampwork beads, having purchased four different size kilns for fused glass items, including wearable art, functional pieces, and wall art.

Minor has traveled throughout the U.S. and to Murano, Italy, studying and training with a multitude of glass instructors. The name of her studio, The Dragonfly Ladies, came to be, after her daughter, Laura, started creating pieces with her. The more glass Minor creates, the more intrigued she is in discovering ways to ‘upcycle’ old windows and shower doors, keeping them out of the landfills, thus creating functional artwork out of discarded materials.
